Better not, just get enough rest and heal the injury. Let OYH concentrate in his BD.......to prevent from come back empty handed again...!!
Well, it is also amazing to learn that even those "who appear to know how good most of the players are" can make confident but wrong predictions like "will win at least a silver" etc etc. It just shows that human beings are not perfect Nobody can predict for sure what will happen in a match, even if the player is supposed to be the favorites to win As for the second-bolded part, nothing will happen really since Riyanto is only 16 yo this year. He's still eligible to play for next year's AJC and WJC and he's undoubtedly INA's best prospect in BS. We still await the emergence of younger players like Fikri Ikshandi (serial Sirnas winners in U-16 this year) or Andrew Susanto (still unstable performance in Sirnas and needs more training). Quited from Krisna's post-AJC remarks: Riyanto seem like somebody who wants and can study. He openly praised Huang's intelligent tactics and strong abilities after the loss... Riyanto also openly admit he still has various weaknesses in his game he needs to work on. He also mentioned his version of possible tactics to use against Huang next time. I see he is the type that prefers to not dwell too much on the past and prefers to look forward to future challenges and a chance to face the tough opponents again... I would feel that Riyanto performed better against the same opponent this time round in WJC
Agree. Riyanto lost 12-21, 14-21 to Huang in the 4th round AJC, and yesterday he fight for rubber. He definitely learnt something from his experience
hope she'll be fine and can be released from hospital soon.. ..what happened with her??..injured? or just cos of the effects of jetlag??..
That kinda prediction was with best Msia line-up (Ow/Lai, Shevon/Lai), not sudden stratch pair between BD & GS,whom I dont recall ever playing XD together. Or the 2nd GD playing crucial match, can fainted. Early morning I had to rub my eyes to make sure I was not seeing wrong the list of names, LOL
Not sure, Lai didnt specify, but not due to the ankle injury. Dont think it's food poisoning either, as the 4 gals cooked their own food & ate same food together. Unless Lai PJ's maggie mee packet is expired one. Hopefully she can recover well enuf to play individual.
This LPJ really bad luck, at home when AJC got injured at crucial moment, now in Mexico WJC got problem again.........Poor girl !
at age of 16 zulfadli already reach ajc quater final in 2009 at age of 17 zulfadli already reach ajc semi final in 2010 and also he qualify for ajc/wjc next year but we dare not regard him as one of the top 3 in future i remember riyanto will be 17 this month
Men's singles World Junior championship, china has been dominating since the year 2007, from Chen Long, 2008 Wang Zhengming, 2009 Houwei Tian.. this year will it be china again....2009 has been a disappointing year for china's double... this year i hope they can wake up.. When can china produce another fast smasher like Fu haifeng
hehe huang yu xiang? i would be surprise if he can survive in senior as for md patner fuhaifeng with li gen next year
As for Riyanto Subagja, we will let his results speak for himself in the next few years. If Fang Kaixiang thinks that he will be one of the top players, I certainly don't doubt Fang's vision as it's Fang who train him everyday I believe Krisna also has his reasons as to why he believes Riyanto will be the top 3 in the World in the future. INA players are never known for maturing during their juniors age That was why we always had atricous results at the AJC & WJC. Those who excelled at the World Championships or Olympics for INA were groomed when they were already past their juniors years (except for Taufik Hidayat), typically when those players reached 19-20 yo. In contrast, like it or not, the painful facts for Malaysian players are: despite the numerous AJC & WJC titles that they won over the past few years, NONE has so far made it to the big stage in terms of winning the World Championships or the Olympics Gold Medals
Aiyo, I think you people better stop quarreling la, please. Why all of you have to be mad & overreacting to one another?
Quarelling? Mad? Overreacting? You should have read the more fiery threads that got locked eventually. I thought this is a forum and debates are obviously unavoidable
Too bad then as a player only has a 1-3 years of time as a junior player. I would prefer to follow the development of the player from junior to senior. Being a AJC or WJC is just a first-step. Many (including Korean and Chinese winners) typically cannot even make it to the senior year Where's Hong Ji Hoon (WJC 2006 winner) now? Where's Gong Weijie now? Where's Cheng Shao-Chieh now? These are just 2 examples.
Maybe press100 seldom go to the fiery threads, he/she can see the 'fire' from afar You two just poking fun & friendly debate only press100 dunno
