there were lots of rumbling about LYB's choice of picking ZN over Zhu lin for the OG. We now see LYB had made the right choice for the 3 WS picked for the OG.
I would not say that Wang YiHan vs Yip was an upset as Yip lost in that match. Her movement was not smooth. Her performance went down. Her smashes was not lethal and her trademark jumpsmashes was not as strong. Yip seems to have lost her footing alot of times... meaning her footwork was bad compare to her previous style. Wang played a better game. She anticipated well.
ants, are u watching in the stadium? if then , pls take some pics or record some matches for us here, ok?

Quarter-finals MS Joachim PERSSON [6] [DEN] - [INA] Taufik HIDAYAT [4] 12-21 21-19 23-21 - Taufik should have won it in straight games considering he was leading 17-13 in the 2nd game after having won the 1st. MD Yonatan Suryatama DASUKI / Rian SUKMAWAN [7] [INA] - [INA] Markis KIDO / Hendra SETIAWAN [1] 21-17 14-21 21-19 - Has the former pair beaten the world and olympic champions before? I guess so. Can someone confirm on this?
upset for Ina's fans : Lu Lan bt Maria 13-21 22-20 22-20......Maria should've won in strght set like Taufik....considering she leads 17/10 in 2nd....sigh.....
Yeah, she was leading 19-16 and 2 pts away from claiming another win over the world number one. Obviously luck was not on her side today.
yeah..i know...maybe next time....lesson learned....never lose focus even if leading far ahead against chn or every plyr for that matter.....btw lu lan no 1 now.???
