By popular demand, I must re-post my 1st batch of photos. I was unable to simply edit my 1st post using the HTML attach tag ATTACH as the earlier uploaded photos has been purged from the system. Using the caption/commentary in my 1st post ... Aging pair Choong Tan Fook and Lee Wan Wah still enjoyed playing together. After/despite their loss, CTF & LWW seemed upbeat and was chatty with a player (?) I didn't recognise. There was a lady (who is she?) with an LV handbag who is acquainted with many officials/players. They would come up and greet her ... ... except for Rexy Mainaky, who feinted disinterest. Rexy was more interested in catching up with the old boys - his Indonesian counterparts. There was a pretty lady (in white dress; who is she?) who is close to the Indonesian team members. A Malaysian official (seated next to Rashid Sidek) seemed to be eyeing this lady ... ... but she had eyes for Boonsak Ponsana only. Alas, Boonsak was more interested in his PSP. I wonder who this Indonesian lady would be cheering for in the Men's Singles final - Boonsak (Thailand) or Sony (Indonesia)? Maybe Boonsak, who is still single. Go, Boonsak!
sasaki sho bears an uncanny resemblance to jong tae-se (north korean footballer). maybe it's the crew cut.
LooooL Joeytan your comments draw a somewhat Soap-Opera in the S'gapore crowd : "there was a beautiful lady whit dressed, a referee was eying her but she would prefer Boonsak, etc.."
A Malaysian official (seated next to Rashid Sidek) seemed to be eyeing this lady ... haha, that's Frederick Tan..Mas team psychologist
