4/2 boesen looks breathless already, asking for time out maybe team europe should have let blair play..younger guy, but this could be boesen's last hurrah in his career
roflmao! have you ever seen blair play singles? he really can't.... i'm surprised that we couldn't get kenneth or peter for the singles if anders has been released... i mean -we've got nathan and gail.. why aren't the top danish singles players here?
15/6 MS asia win asia team win whole asian team now at the court... throwing rolled up t shirt to the crowd team score asian 11 europe 7
Yeah!! I wish the top Danish MS players had played in this tournament, that would have made the tournament so much more competitive. Any idea how they are going to divide the money? NP
can't say, maybe no points score standing in IBF for this...so top danish players dont want to risk injury just a money prize tournament
lol..thats not my department...i think other filipino player fans will provide that..am watching from our tv station others being there live will get the pictures here soon..
i think proportion to which day they played 1st day is 1 point 2nd day 2 pts 3rd day games was 3 pts i guess 3rd day players gets biggest amount now awarding ceremony now team europe being given neck medals and bouquets..whoa...by my business partner
day three of the MVP cup had us cheering for local favorites, kennie and kennevic as they went up against World No1 Gail Emms and nathan Robertson. As if bouyed by the arena-wide cheering squad, they gamely took the first game, 15-12. Second set was highly charged too, with the siblings rushing to a 10-2 lead, but only to squander the hard fought first match point at 14-13, to lose it 17-14. It was a heart breaking loss, as the siblings had one shinining golden chance to take the match. Seemingly devastated, and with the world number one proving why they're #1, the Asuncions lost 1-15. Team Europe took the mixed doubles 12-15, 17-14. 15-1 I'm sooo sad right now... but at least they had a special mention when Datuk Punch Gulaman (hahahaha) took the mike and promised that they'll be back next year and they are looking forward to seeing the asuncions in action again.
Their play was AMAZING!!!!!!! Mia Audina's partner, Yao Jie, couldn't play so Gail Emms took her place. It was incredible how they were able to adjust and follow each other's game (as a newly formed pair).
I can imagine how they can play well - Emms would do her XD role as net killer, while Mia's clears and smashes are 2nd to none wheres the video?!!!!:crying::crying::crying:
