Blackout probably save you from heart attack. But all ends well for you.

:D:D Yes! Now you mention it, haha. It was indeed scary when you face a pair that never give up like LYD/YYS, they seems never been pessimistic about their chance, see their semifinal result. It wasn't over until it was over. Fyuuuh. And yes, it ends well. Thanks! :D

I knew Lin Dan would probably lose. Chen Long is just amazing and I wonder if it's also age that's affecting LCW and LD.

The first two finals were too predictable, Luo Twins played better than last week IND SS with more variety of shots, Korean playmaker Chang Ye Na didn't help too much this time as she pushed to baseline than her superiority front court area.

Zhang/Zhao showed their prowess despite trailed behind at early stage of game 1, they're more compact and faster than Xu/Ma. Non stop winning for ZZ combination since CHN Open Premier last November.

The intensity of final match started from MS, Chen Long v Lin Dan. Both players performed all out at first game with incredible defense, precision smashes, smooth netplay. Game 2 and 3 seemed Chen Long had more stamina to unleash his lethal attacking style whilst Lin Dan began error-prone and hard to balance his junior pace.

The chance was there for Li Xuerui to take revenge, led 14-9 at decider then she lost concentration, the never say die Carolina Marin enhanced the tempo to grab second wind and unstoppable to bag her second title of this year after All England Premier last month.

Thrilling MD match as we expected, fortunately Ahsan/Setiawan stayed calm after Lee/Yoo delayed their victory to save 4 match points before the Indonesian finished off 23-21, what a heart attack ending!

Congratulations for all top podium finishers, next stop Singapore :)

Looks like it. He is a cut above the rest at the moment.

But I do wish that LCW wins a WC before he retires.

I am not optimistic. Age is catching up with him and is on the decline.

Got a pic with the Luo twins and got them to sign my shirt!
    Awesome day.
A random group of people and myself sneaked into the staff/officials/Players area of the stadium (underground) after the final games ended and when all the spectators left the stadium, there were storage rooms, media rooms, players lounges, toilets, medical rooms, doping rooms etc,
which was an interesting sight to see....
I got to see Lee Yong-dae, he was inches away from me.. sadly he was rushing and only took pictures with a few people, I was too late :(

And out of nowhere, CHEN LONG came out of a room with his coaches, he didn't even look at us. He mumbled in Mandarin, I couldn't tell what it was but he said something along the lines of "I don't want to", I guess it was regarding to the few people who asked for pictures. I'm not going to judge him, maybe he is rushing or it was an emergency. Or maybe he was being arrogant :p

Overall, great experience this week. Looking forward to the next BWF tournament that I'll be able to attend!

Winning a back to back title is not easy. Carolina is very smart. Everytime after she has won a SS title, she will be skipping the tournament in the following week. Just like the Swiss Open after All England and now Singapore Open after Malaysia Open.

yes you are right. it is not easy.
for WS player, LXR already once or twice (Jpn - Ina 14) and Chn - HK
I'm not sure about XXF and ZN, maybe only once or even more, not so sure
    Susi only once

only WYH and LLW can win it 3 titles in 3 weeks, with the later also stick in WD
