08 - 13 NOVEMBER 2016 Eye-Level Cups Individual Event draws, schedule and live results: http://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/tournament.aspx?id=2256677A-44AD-4E24-AF38-E0F3F347DDEE
My goodness, just checked the draw and what did I see ? 256 participants each in the MS and the WS, and requiring 8 rounds, i.e R1 to R5, then QFs, SFs, and Finals, to complete. I suppose two rounds have to played on the first two days of competition, except that the seeded players have a R1 bye, a slight (perhaps considerable) advantage. Not a good idea to me, but what to do, resources are (very) limited to hold such a World but Junior Championships. I reckon it'll be a test not only of skills but more of stamina and endurance for all the young aspirants. Wish them best of luck, they will need it (not only luck of the draw but in every sense of the word). The same scenario applies to the XD event, except the MD and WD which are both 7-round events, one fewer.
Notice there's an icon besides the settings on the bottom right which allows you to switch the camera to other courts.
Another thing is the livestream links changes day by day. You've to search for it on youtube under Badminton Spain
unfortunately a pair of malaysian men's doubles had to retire.. ameer seemed to have injured his knee.....
Chen Yufei's weakness exposed, in G2 by INA Putri, sharp and steep drop shots can get her out of position , allowing you to gain control of the rally, sometimes even winning the point outright.
Quite a number of these juniors here are doing double duty in singles-doubles or doubles-doubles, sometimes having to play four matches a day. With such a schedule and arrangement, more uncertainties are introduced into the tournament, affecting their chances of winning the championships.
