    Hi,

i was just wondering how the teams got in the TC. Is there a preliminary rounds that you have to quailfy for, or does the IBF go on the overal performance of the country during the season?

    Many Thanks
    Matt

All member nations of the IBF can send in a TC entry asking for their admission to the event. They must state which qualifying venue they want to participate in and the entry must be received before the closing date. Member-nation requests of entry to TC can be denied. The trophy-holding nation and the host nation automatically gain entrance to the final stage of competition. There are three total stages: preliminary, semi-final, and then finals.
