    Reality check

Looking at how all our women shuttlers (except for WPT/CEH) were packed away last night, it must be hard to come crashing back down to earth after the euphoria of that team gold in Laos. Thank god, WPT/CEH played some novice and clueless Malaysian pair. At least we still got some left over Boleh cheers going into the q/f today.

Hoon/Ong ... yes they beat LYD/JJS. But I must say it was just a one off sort of victory. This pair is just average, they dont really have the nerves nor the depth. I am afraid beating LYD/JJS will be the highlight of their badminton careers.

WMC? Looking at the score, it was a painful experience indeed. She is on her way down, way down.

TWK/WKW ... very good punching bag for Flandy and his Taiwanese partner.

CCM/CCE ... poor. The Indonesians hardly raised a sweat. A Sunday walk in the park for the Indonesians actually.

LCW? Lucky Dato ... very lucky indeed.

CWF? Decent effort. Journey should end today.

VH/WKW? High school level can la. But SS level? Would be a massive bonus if they can take above 12 points off their opponents.

    NS/GLY? 21-3, 21-9 .... need I say more??

KKK/TBH ... in the absence of LYD/JJS, CY/FHF, MK/HS and that Danish pair... can boleh in style la.

MHC/TWK ... not steady and inexperienced. Can be decent, given time and proper grounding.

There you have it! Our home open! We have the home advantage. We have the Boleh fans in huge numbers. And going into the quarters today, we have LCW, CWF, KKK/TBH & WPT/CEH. Only 4 left. In view of the beatings and badminton lessons yesterday, I must say things are indeed looking great for our Boleh badminton.

    Malaysia Boleh!

No wonder you had such a big shock. The sudden loss of so many Malaysians in the second round may seem like a common thing for many Malaysians, but a very sad day for you. Don't worry, you'll get used to it.

Haha, it's not sudden loss, some are expected loss, look at the way PAWers paw. Though Bao2 did pull one on us by retiring in rubber.:p:p
Last yr Msia have more in QF though(very few China participation in 2009) but generally the trend is about the same.:D

    actually
one of the reason i try to gather all the bcer sit with me
it is because of a few reason
i was so annoyed by the guy beside me yesterday
talking all wrong information with his friend
but that is not the worst
he complain on each and every points that malaysia lost:mad:
i dont know how and what on earth is he thinking
sound like malaysia player can never lost a point in their match:mad:
and this is same to most of the malaysia fans in the stadium
    i get annoyed by them
they tot malaysia player should win 21-0 21-0 every match
    naive and nonsense
that why i prefer to sit with bcer
atleast until now,i wont get annoyed by bcer who sitting with me and in fact
i think everyone of us enjoy that:D

    Surprising indeed

For someone who has watched badminton live numerous times ... what do you expect? Each and every paying fan at the stadium last night all think and act like you??

You are watching the game live in the stadium (not in your Ben 10 pyjamas in the comfort of your living room) amongst a paying crowd. It is part and parcel of watching sports live.

    limsy, bear with it lah...

On Wednesday, a bunch of college students sneaked into premium seats by passing the tickets around. I overheard one of them talking to his hp, "I can't go out coz I don't have a ticket. After I can't go back in!" They even shouted to Peter asking racket, towel and even underwear! I was so embarrassed sitting next to them.

Then there were two 30+ guys sitting behind me, conversing in Hakka, commented every player from head to toe. I almost burst into laughter when one of them commented about Meiliana/Shendy's rude movement and something X-rated.
