Thread for minimalistic shoe.. Shoes having No fancy cushion, no arch support. Just having minimal, uniform sole thickness, are bendable, have a rubber outsole, has 'feel the ground effect', has enough, wider toe space. Question is, do such shoes exist for badminton?
They don't exist specifically for badminton (because why would they). But there are plenty of indoor sports shoes that fit that description. Look for futsal shoes (indoor football shoes). They tend to have a flat sole, and are usually pretty bendy.
Nostalgia. As a kid, I myself had started with these many years back .. We didn't have any other option then.
Yeah, I don't know why you'd want these types of shoes, unless you're at a podiatry school/badminton club and the demonstrator is showing students an example of a shoe that would be terrible for your health if used for badminton. The minimalistic movement is weird enough, let alone in sports.
Converse All-Stars were originally used for basketball, can hardly get less minimalistic than that ....
