I'm looking for a good racket for front court in doubles, and I recently used a friend's nanoflare 700 and really enjoyed it. I havent tried the 88s, but I dont have any friends who own it so I can't ask to try it out. I'm sure the comparison has been made before but I couldn't find anything when I searched for one.

Agree. They are very very different. Boils down to how you feel.

I am back to the 88s after months of honeymooning with the nf700.

If you have the technique, both rackets are fun to use. Otherwise, you will suffer abit with the nf700 or risk injury because you may tend to exert more strength to swing it.

Different in what ways? Do you think the only way for me to decide is to try to borrow one from someone so I can compare?

    Are we comparing the 88S 4U and NF700 4U?

I believe the balance is quite different. I think both rackets are going to be stupid quick, although looking at it from theoretical front court, a 4U NF800 might be a better racket.

However, there are some news regarding NF800 cracking

Yea it would be 4U. I wasn't sure how similar the nanoflare series would be compared to each other, but if they're pretty similar I think I'll just wait for the NF900 to come out. Really? I guess I'll wait a bit for more news to come out, I'd rather not have that investment go down the drain.

I am using 4u 88s. I think as for review, the nf700 and 88s thread should contain sufficient info. You may want to check those threads.

Yes, you would definitely want to try both rackets before committing. The 88s is fast but nf700 is faster. Both have differing head mass. It depends which one you will have better control over.

Which is more flexible? I tried a 88D and S and found them too stiff.

Both the have stiff frames. I've seen multiple comparisons between the NF700 and the JS10.

I personally use the JS10 4UG5, but I recently switched to the 88s 4UG5. I've noticed the 88s is beefier than the JS10. It's a tad bit slower but isn't that noticeable. The additional power you get from the slightly heavier head is nice.
