How is the cushioning in these compared to the Aerus2/3 lineup?

Word of caution to those like me who have had BOA shoes before and are planning to buy or have bought the Infinity. The laces are not the standard steel wire we're used to seeing and getting.

They seem to be a synthetic fibre. How high the tensile strength I have no clue. Just got the shoes this week and am gonna test them on a 4 hour game in a bit. Hopefully YY is able to keep up the good name of the BOA lace system.

The shoes are pretty darn light too given the construction. They have a new model of stock insole that's half garbage (typical YY really) but impressive to a degree. They seem to provide about the same amount of cushion as the normal stock garbage but are lighter. Maybe if I'm bored later tonight I'll pull them out of the shoe and measure them next to normal stock ones out of a SHB 03Z, in the same size of course.

I met a guy who wore it. The red looks good upclose.. Shoes looks a bit bloated. He felt it was a little too loose in fitting...

Mainly because he didn't dared to tighten too much. His concern was he might break the string if he tighten too much. Overall comfort was good he commented.

You reckon if the string break, can he claim warranty from sunrise-yonex?

Hardly saw any pros either... regarding amateurs, that's almost non existent. Saw one pair during a tournament with 300+ participants. No surprises at the price they sell it.

Yeah.....there seems to be a real lack of reviews for this model. Which i guess is not surprising with how expensive it is.

On the off chance someone is actually using this model, can you comment on the fit? Like if I am regularly using a size 10, would I still stick with that? Or need to go a half size bigger or smaller?

When I got a pair of Power Cushion 03Z online, I quickly discovered when I was using them that I should have gone with a 9.5 one. The material of that shoe seemed to stretch a lot, and it felt like my feet was moving around a lot which did not happen normally with other yonex shoes I've used.

Any reviews from anyone who has these? Are they good or bad? Currently using a pair of Aerus 3 which i like a lot and hoping these are not that heavy compared to them and i assum if i buy the same size as my Aerus 3 they should fit the same? I know these are very expensive, but saw they are way much cheaper in the far east, so interested in getting a pair but also worried i get import tax here in UK :(

I heard Yonex shoes are slim fit. For me, normally I wear size 8.5 but had to go for 9.

What size do you wear? The size should be consistent between model.
I have bought new model 88 Dial and they are really light (290g/shoe compared to 270g of Aerus) and the BOA is really nice. But turn out I don't like the color (white model) so I am selling on UK ebay, if you are interested. The price of this model is like a bargain to Inf Power Cushion.

Cheers for the info on the 88 dial. Im not that much of a fan on the 88 dials colour scheme and it looks quite high cut.

Where did you buy the 88 dial from as im not sure if its out in UK yet?

Boa dials are actually quite nice....
On cycling shoes where you can’t stop to adjust tension.

Calling something "Infinity" or "Ultimate" is a rookie mistake - what will you call the next one?
    "Power Cushion Aleph-0"?
