So tired of being slow at stringing. But not after tonight.

I’ve replaced my crank with the winch from my Ford F-150 truck.
The client wants 24 lbs tension. I’ve pre-woven and mounted the 22X23 racquet.
So, by my calculations, that’s a bulky starting knot at one end and a single pull of 1080lbs on the other.
Presto, job done! Wish me luck.:)

might as well just interleave LN1 on odd strings, and BG80 on even strings.

the possibilities are endless, mind boggling!

One shot from above is acturally from a video of an advanced training methods of the pros. In this video Marc Zwiebler, one of the best german players ever, is practicing his footwork technique with a strong focus on endurance and stamina. The training concecpt is base on constraint led training, that is, you put some constraints on limiting your freedom to focus on other aspects.

There are although rumors, that this got the attention of the BWF. We know, that many people fear to get shot by a badminton shuttle, which could reach a speed of above 500 km/h, so the BWF thinks about distrubuting according beginner training sets to take away the fear and reach a larger audience for the badminton sport. Insiders reported, that this is the reason behind the delay of the market launch of AirBadminton.

    Here is the complete footage:

Arcsaber 11 is very good, N7ii not so good.

I can't tell who's the one that was more exhausted, Marc, the dude Ben, or the audience!

(answer: me. who was watching from a computer and only watched 10 rallies...)

It took you weeks to come to that conclusion? You need compare and decide about rackets only by a couple of dry swings or 10 minutes on court maximum. If you take more time, your body might adapt to it and your decision gets biased.

Yonex Arcsaber Flash Boost in FG5 is the best racket ever. Defence is effortless and smash power is phenomenonal. I realised this fact because it took 36lbs BG66UM like a champ.

After changing the rules to an uniformly serve high of 115cm earlier this year, the BWF considers to uniform the reach of the players too. The basic idea is, that at the start of a match, all players need to stretch their rackets up into the air and need to reach the same high. A special reach-judge will be introduced to ensure that the high is fair.

Here's a sneak peak of the new racket prototypes for a test game of the minions vs LI/LIU:

Normally I use for each season exact what my favorite pro use. Starting from racket to grip and string at the same tension and shoes. My bad that it was Akane Yamaguchi and these Yonex shoes at EUR37 feel a bit tight. Maybe I should loose the laces a bit to made it better for my 28cm feet.

That's why @s_mair always carries a can of Red Bull roughly the size of his own body to drink after each match.

Keeping blood sugar and caffeine level as high as possible is key to an athlete's nutrition. And for a bit of fun, just add a sip of Vodka.

The BWF are to introduce a new shortened match format of first to 7 points over 5 sets. This is to reduce the amount of co2 released during a match by more than half.
