Oh yeah? @Mark A let's fight for your love tonight, never shall we stop, I'm here to make you crazy, here to make you ready (to buy more) Fight for love tonightttt~~ *psst - I haven't even posted the black/gold/white combo that China market only enjoys...
They did get an honest chance, but they thought that they could come into a market as a fresh newcomer without any credit and take higher prices than the market leader, on top of that some of their products weren't good (the shoe was appalling). Signing some talented players isn't enough, you also have to swallow the bitter pill and get a following by having lower prices than market leaders, even if it cuts into your profits
I totally agree with you. We both were a few years back at the demo days. You in Paderborn, I in Langenfeld, right?. I can only speak for Germany. Adidas never aimed the smaller shops for their products here. Only the big ballers, which are in Germany very very few shops which mostly sell online. On the demo day they only had size EU 42 for shoes. Only one person at the demo day tried them. For the other too small. They never got a license for their feathers for my state and NRW is really big abdminton territory. If you don't see a product in a shop next door, how can you notice it? Their first gen rackets were not that quality for such high prices. I played them all on the demo day and none was better than my own ones. This can be a personal issue, but the 2 friends which were with me also agreed on that. None of their rackets impressed me so much to deserve such a huge price. The german sponsored players got threat by Adidas very bad and got the worst conditions out of all other brands for their sponsoring. The lifetime of the contract was also short, so no wonder they left the ship. If somebody don't believe me I invite you to ask e.g. Fabian Roth. I strung a few of Adidas rackets and their low end ones, were a real good option for starters. The midends don't deserved the price tag and the high ends didn't impressed me. They had really good rackets in the below 50 EUR area. I also got the chance to test some of their strings and every string was mediocre. Nothing which impress you. Everything like a BG65. The first start of Adidas in Germany left the impression of an arrogant attitude. "We have the big name and are major player in other sports, when we come game over for all." They totally failed, were not organized and didn't invested much love, effort and passion for this sport. They rely too much on their brand name, instead of working hard to get into the market. When I remember the demo day and how non-professional it was arranged, they missed their chance. Even now I see this Adidas rackets with the fancy spaceship grommets. If they don't sell them seperate, they will fail again. Best example is Li-Ning. They made it slower, gave many and very good deals to sponsored players and even placed their new products in the small shop around the corner here in Germany. I remember very well when they came into the market.
welcoming a new guy to the family..astrox 88s 3u...anw, as i am not speaking the local language, the guy kinda told me to not remove the plastic wrap? do you guys know why? he said it kinda can damaged the string? is it okay if i put it in the badminton bag?
Nice collection but im kind of wondering, what do you need 7 of the same model for? Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
There was a promo which included a Windstorm 78 with each new racket. Once I pick my 2 favorite, I'll get a few of each. i string at quite a high tension so normally I have 4 or 5 of each for tournaments.
Li-ning gp 1000 has a color option like that. Yonex ac 103 and other known and quite unknown brands also have that teal color. Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
