This private hospital needs to go out of business.

Yeah but like I said, it's usually the same staff/facilities. There are some real private hospitals, but holy crap they cost a fortune.

They wanted £90 per B12 injection. I just bought the B12 from Germany, a bunch of equipment from a medical supplier, and manage it myself for about £1 a shot.

This is a private hospital in Reading.

I played again on weds. Was much better than last time in all aspects in terms of play...Could move around a bit, but what really helped was that my late forehand shots were really good so got some unexpected winners and generally helped reset rallies.

On the physical side the hip pain definitely went up incrementally and I still get some twinges even now, days after.

Injection coming up on Friday 11...

I played a bit early on the Weds after the injection and was a bit sore muscle-wise. No hip/tendon pain. Noticed that I do not have significant pain/ache after sitting anymore. Just finished playing (this makes twice in two weeks), this would definitely set something off pre-injection so we'll see how things are tomorrow morning. Things look good so far. Now I just need to go easy on my back tweaks so I can get back to higher weights for deadlift and squats.

Maybe stay off the games and just train shots for a while.

Actually think games are better because I do so much more deep lunging which is really good for my glutes that need building up again. It's the only aerobics I'm getting atm as well o_0

Slight glute strain. Definitely not as bad as last week, so finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel!

I do taekwondo for my glutes. The physio showed me some exercises which were really boring. I found standing on one leg and kicking with the other trains the glutes of the standing leg in a much more enjoyable fashion.

Guess time for an update. The injection wore off a month early. Had another soon after and it pretty much did nothing. Since the first wore off I had regular pain and difficult to play regularly and same for the gym.

Medical insurance also cut me off from physio.

However, recently the pain is a bit lower and playing doesn't trigger/make it worse.

I've recently broke the 100kg barrier for deadlift. So that's something.

There is a group of medicine known as NSAIDS. Is basically non steroid anti inflammatory.
    This may help.
Do consult your physician as this drug does has it side effects and not a long term solution.

The saga continues... XD Impinged a left hip flexor doing squats a few weeks ago, so that's been the main thing keeping me off court. That and having a very bad dead lift day around the same time that really made my right side annoyed.

Things might be calming down a bit now - played on Friday with zero repercussions.

DL is over 110kg, bench finally over a plate. Don't do as many squats now since so worried about them and physio said not to go 'heavy'.
