This is way early but she is supposed to be a can't miss prospect, China's answer to the girl geniuses from Thailand. People who saw her play rave about her talent. Name: HE, BingJiao (何冰娇) Place of Birth: SuZhou, JiangSu, China Date of Birth: March 21, 1997 Height: 1.66 m / 5'5" Idol: Wang Xin (a fellow left handed player) Sherlock Holmes (favorite detective story character) 1997: Born 2003: Started practicing badminton 2009: Selected into the provincial training program of JiangSu 2012: Asia U17 champions in GS and GD You can get a glimpse of her in the following video (at the 30th minutes, the girl in red) http://bugu.cntv.cn/specials/C31921/classpage/video/20111024/101197.shtml
Never heard about this girl.. Was she selected at AJC?? have any link to asia junior champ??wanna see her result
Not junior champ, but U17 champ. At those ages, one year can make a huge difference. Here how He BingJiao fared at 2012 Asia U15/U17: http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...B2B716-E85E-41A2-A90A-533CDBFBA3C4&player=118 Thus far, HBJ's biggest tests came in domestic competitions where she played against girls a few years older. If Sun Yu moves onto the senior circuit, we may well see HBJ in Asia Junior next year.
When will we see her in the regular (adult) international tournaments. Not so soon for a CHN player, I suppose, may be when she's 18 years old, hopefully earlier than that if she proves herself exceptional. However,if she were a non-CHN player, I won't be surprised she gets entered in both junior and 'senior' events anytime now.
Considering the last international tournament she played was Asia U17. She still has a long way to go. Let's see how she will do in Asia Junior and World Junior this year. Then we will know more. Due to poor results from international junior competitions, LYB disbanded the national junior team. The juniors are now trained with the first team. The heightened attention on junior competitions may mean more international appearances for HBJ.
Can you explain in more detail the entire story of what happened? Why were there such poor results in junior competitions? Is the "jr" team different from the "2nd" team? How can LYB have extra time to train the jr team?
Nothing extra to the story. The 2nd Team was the junior team. LYB was not happy with the junior results and made a re-organization, like any corporate executive would do. It may be easier for LYB now that everyone is together instead of having two separate programs.
He BingJiao managed to beat Jiang YanJian at the Chinese National Games by the score of 21:13, 12:21, 23:21. Too bad that she was pulled out of the China Masters. We have to wait a little longer to get a good look at her.
Just wondering why can't CBA make an exception and let He Bingjiao who's just turning 16 play in the regular adult international circuit. Try it out as an experiment, the Thais are doing it as a norm and producing praiseworthy results. No harm having a youngster performing on par with their established seniors when she's an asset to the team.
Things will change for HBJ after scoring a big win over JYJ. Ironically, JYJ established her position by winning the WS at the National Games many years ago and served as a stepping stone for a youngster now.
First real look of HBJ, here playing the first match at the Team Final of the Chinese National Games, against Liu Xin. Please note that you may need a proxy server to view it as it may be restricted to mainland China. http://sports.cntv.cn/2013/09/06/VIDE1378461359604552.shtml Not a great outing by HBJ as she got a bit too eager and squandered big leads by making too many unforced errors.
No, that's Qin JinJing (秦金晶), one year older than HBJ. http://sports.cntv.cn/2013/08/22/VIDE1377147002971460.shtml
watched the video...and found that this tournament is in NanJing but the one I mentioned is in Malaysia before NanJing. I think its name cause confusion...but I mean the one in Malaysia. Anyway, it's good that now I know Qin JinJing as well she also good.
OK. That's the Asia U19 tournament. Yes, in the semi-finals, HBJ played Busanan and QJJ played Ohori. Both Chinese girls lost.
